School intros, safety, netiquette
- safety and netiquette overview
- Get parents’ consent for children to participate in the project.
The Arrival in Code Valley (OCT-NOV)
The children of four villages were invited to Code Valley, a land where learning and robots lived in harmony. Cody Byte led the heroes as they introduced themselves on the magical Twinboard. But before they began, the Gatekeeper of the Web warned:
“In this valley, respect reigns. Be kind, think critically, and never share secrets online.”
The heroes promised to follow the Rules of Netiquette and set off to explore.

3.2 Netiquette time!
Dear partners, here are two videos on the dangers of the internet. Watch them with a keen eye and discuss the content with your students. After that, we'll share a Canva presentation where each of us will add a rule for responsible internet use.
Twinboard: Each country adds 2 -3 Netiquette rules for our collaboration.
If you have a problem, ask an adult for help.

Discussing Netiquette
6th primary school of Nea Ionia
Our class enthusiastically participated in the SaferInternet4Kids online seminar, where we explored how to stay safe online through discussion and interactive questions. The initiative was sparked by a video shared by our Italian peers, which inspired our students to learn more and take action. Their motivation grew even stronger knowing that their Greek partners from Patras had also watched the same video. This cross-border connection made the experience more meaningful, encouraging thoughtful dialogue and a shared commitment to responsible digital behavior.
We discussed about what makes us safe but also kind and respectful in our collaboration online. Do you agree? What would you add?

MOD.2 DECEMBER: Code the Cheer: Pixel Magic & Holiday Bots!
Hour of Code, Christmas coding fun
- the Hour of Code overview (Cody Roby)
- Christmas wishes in cod (pixel art, presentations with Scratch / J2code, Zaplycode etc).
Santa needs your help. He needs to be ready for Christmas day. Each team will prepare something for D Day that Santa will collect. All the collected coded items will create a beautiful scenery for Christmas day. A star, a Christmas tree, a gift, a snowflake etc... What would you like to create ? Be creative !
The Pixel Wishing Tree (Dec)
As snowflakes danced, Pixie Pixel giggled and coded snowflakes in bright colors with Scratch and J2code. Zap Zaply built a glowing star, and Juno J2 placed it atop the Pixel Tree. They celebrated with “The Hour of Code,” and each hero made a digital wish:
- “I wish to build a bot that sings,” said Cody.
- “I wish to draw with my keyboard,” said Pixie.
4.1 Hour of Code: Cody Roby Challenge
Cody Rody challenge!
The Italian team teaches us about Cody Roby. Cody Roby is a set of unplugged activities that help us learn about coding.
We create the cards, learn about how to lead Cody Roby to a target, and then we challenge one another to find the code.
CodyRoby
https://codemooc.org/codyroby/EN/
CodyRoby is a DIY card game to play with unplugged coding at any age. Download your free CodyRoby kit, print it out, cut the cards, fold the card box, and start playing! Instructions and represented by colourful cards reporting the symbols associated to three elementary moves:
- turn left (yellow, also denoted by L, which means turning 90 degrees counterclockwise),
- move forward (green, also denoted by letter F, which means moving into the box in front of you),
- turn right (red, also denoted by R, which means turning 90 degrees clockwise).
6th primary school of Nea Ionia, Greece
We created the game, based on the details our Italian partners from Rovereto.
We learned about Cody Roby.
We practiced a lot, so that we can respond to our partners challenge with Cody Roby unplugged activities!
4.2 Hour of Code: Scratch Challenge
